I’m Seeing Stars!

Hi crafty friends!  This is my last post for August and boy oh boy, do we have some special stamps to share next month at OCS, so make sure you check back soon!

Now just in case you were wondering…this is what I did on my card… I first mixed white embossing paste and black ink, then smeared it on thick over my star stencil. I really wanted the stars to pop off the page and they very much do. I added the super star die sentiment, more stars, some border dies, and can you believe it..no stamp or any colouring this week.!

I hope you all are seeing stars after this! Have a great day and keep on crafting!

Here is my concoction of ink and paste, I used a popsicle stick to mix it.

A Little Birdie Told Me…

Another terrific Tuesday is here and I have a tweet of a card to share. I used my prismacolour pencils to colour a few high hopes stamps and framed them in a memory box window die.

OCS has lots of beautiful inspiration for you on the blog and big summer sales at the store, don’t forget to check out both places everyday for something new!

Sail Away

On this terrific Tuesday I’m sharing a cool and masculine card,  done in monochromatic and with a heat embossed image. I used embossing paste with a stencil for the first time, and think its such a neat look and fun to use.

Enjoy and have wonderful day!

Guardian Angel

What a sweet image I have to share today at One Crazy Stamper, I thought this one would look perfect in grayscale and on an all white card.  To create this I used a medley of clear jewels, glitter, die cuts and embossing folders also in all white.

I started off making all my die cuts and embossed papers, then glittered the flower dies, used distress paint on some dies, added embossing paste on the fancy tag die and used frantage embossing power on the butterflies. My card has as many as three layers done with pop dots in some areas, and in person is quiet lovely.

I hope you all like it and have a wonderful day!

There is a finished inside with my coloured image, but I seemed to have lost the file! I’ll post it when/if I find it.

a Vintage Voyage

Can you believe a month of summer break has passed already? I’ve really been enjoying having my kids home, enjoying the lazy and late mornings all cuddled in my bed and all the fun places and things we’ve done so far.

Now on to my card, I stamped  a vintage sailboat image and water coloured it with my derwnt inktense pencils. I had the perfect carta bella DP and brads to match the  theme. I used one of the plain pieces of DP and  taped down a memory box  star stencil, inked versamark  watermark right on, then used black embossing powder with a few sprinkles of aged gold chunks from my frontage embossing kit and heat embossed it.

I Hope ya’ll enjoy my card and are having a great summer! I know we are, we’ve been busy enjoying the neighbourhood splash pad, and parks, the ROM, Storybook Gardens, the beach, McMichaels art museum, the Niagara Butterfly Conservatory and now awaiting our vacation to the island of Trinidad and Tobago!

I have a birthday card that I made for a lovely(diva) friend of mine, I used Victoria by YNS and coloured with my copic markers. A few of the details that cannot be seen in the photograph is the glossy accents on the die cut butterflies and DP, and also the sentiment die that was glitter and burnished.

Hello! Terrific Tuesday is here at One Crazy Stamper  and I’m sharing “Mary” again. This time I’ve coloured her with copic markers, a few prisma pencils and done in a completely different colour scheme. Check my post here to see her done with only prisma pencils.

What do you guys think…which one do you prefer??
